Lx electric
Lx Electric is a colourful and energetic queerlesque drag royal, displaying a mosaic of artistry and ingenuity through
quirky acts that span the personal and political.
Based in London but willing to travel to a screen or town near you, they bring the spark to smash binaries, spread legs and open minds!
Since beginning their performance journey in 2018, they have been a Lipsync1000 finalist, a Pride’s Got Talent semi-finalist, and competed in international burlesque competitions such as Oslo Burlesque festival.
Not all their acts can be displayed here but Lx performs in a wide range of styles and gets excited about fitting an act to an event brief or theme! Be sure to get in touch as I’m sure something can be adapted or created to fit the occasion.

The Progress Pride flag (which includes a triangle with black, brown, blue, pink and white stripes) is superimposed over 4 photos of Lx Electric; a slim, white drag performer. 1) Lx looks angry, arms raised above their head in a punk, bisexual and non-binary themed outfit, short green hair and nerdy black framed glasses. 2) Lx wears a pink suit and grasps their pink tie, they look to the left with a look that says ‘Cor!!’ 3) Lx holds their face in their hands and looks up. A neck corset covers their neck, mouth and nose, they are topless and wearing a long black skirt. 4) Lx jumps up and down wearing a giant backcombed and pigtailed blonde wig, a flowery white dress and white gloves like a life sized marionette doll whose just found freedom from their strings.

Drag WHAT‽
Having graduated from The Art of Drag course together in 2019, Drag What‽ is a collective gone club night that aims to showcase the full diversity of drag and queer performance art.
We’re currently on hiatus due to the pandemic and using the time to improve on our anti-racist practises but you can be sure we’ll be back bigger, better and centring under-represented artists as soon as it’s safe.
